Dr. Payam “Peter” Shaaf is a Los Angeles–based endodontist with a strong foundation in comprehensive general dentistry. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. After graduation, Dr. Shaaf practiced as a general dentist for several years, gaining extensive experience in restorative care, patient management, and high-volume clinical settings before pursuing specialty training in endodontics at USC.

His clinical approach is centered on precision, efficiency, and delivering predictable outcomes while maintaining a comfortable patient experience. Dr. Shaaf is passionate about preserving natural teeth and providing high-quality, evidence-based care, with a particular interest in root canal therapy, cracked teeth, and modern endodontic materials and techniques.
